I am a scientist researching the gut microbiota and epigenetic ageing. I am particularly interested in understanding how the gut microbiota develops in early life and what consequences alterations to this developmental process may have.

In my work, I use a variety of study systems ranging from a human birth cohort to wild mice. For measuring epigenetic age, I have developed a non-invasive epigenetic clock, read about it here.
